HAPPY NEST - II

This prestigious project is located in the dream capital of AP, Amaravati. Occupying an area of 14.46 acres, this luxurious haven is designed in a way that modern architecture and landscape meet the cultural setting. It consists of 12 blocks of 19 floors each having 2 BHK and 3 BHK apartments.

This is a unique government project, where for the first time in the country, the design went through the scrutiny of “Happy Cities” international team, through participation of GPPL team in the entire process of achieving the objective of a happy city.

With a total of 2 million sft. built up area, the apartment blocks nestle amongst finely designed landscape spaces that occupy 75% area on ground uniquely placed in two levels, purposely created to deal with the problem of high-water table.

Lower level landscape caters to 1+ km. length of fitness trail, that winds through an array of active play areas like tennis, basketball, physical fitness centres, children play spaces that skilfully blend passive recreation spaces into it.

Upper level landscape again has a fitness trail of near 1 km., community gathering spaces, overhang decks and social gathering spaces along with dense local micro forest spaces. Landscape on natural ground is skilfully managed in design at two levels. Vehicle circulation is controlled without compromising on the fire tender route, and fewer clash points were achieved between pedestrian and vehicle traffic.

Bothe the levels are connected at strategic locations to unify the landscape open ness.

Salient feature of the project is that large courtyard open areas have been articulated to have major tracts of natural earth areas in the central area to cater to the envisioned dense green setting and “nature connect” concept

Different Linear open spaces between and besides the built forms, that connect the two large open spaces are developed as an urban promenade.

Amenities and facilities are planned according to scale of development to present this project as a trend setter.
